Ronald C. Giguere - 20 Year Operator, 20 Year Financing Consultant
Prior to joining London Manhattan, Mr. Giguere founded, financed and served as the Chief Executive Officer of several large multi-divisional corporations. In 1984, Mr. Giguere founded Diversified Foods, Inc., an international trading and finance company. From 1984 through 1988, Diversified's revenues grew from $4.0 million to approximately $200.0 million with principal activities in packaged foods, electronics, computers and peripherals, and a wide range of consumer items. As its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Giguere presided over numerous restructurings of acquired businesses as well as private and public financing of Diversified and its subsidiary companies.
Prior to establishing Diversified, Mr. Giguere was the President and Chief Executive Officer of a large chain of retail stores which he founded in 1972. In that capacity, he pioneered the warehouse concept of retailing which has been widely publicized and duplicated internationally.
Since joining London Manhattan in January of 1990, Mr. Giguere has restructured and financed companies in the healthcare, leasing, retailing, energy, building materials and insurance industries. He has served as the temporary Chief Executive Officer of several companies throughout the restructuring process.
Mr. Giguere attended Boston College and the University of Maine where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting in 1972. He is an authority on corporate restructurings, and a specialist in turnaround and crisis management of distressed companies. In 1987, he was the recipient of the New Englander Award, honoring him as one of the outstanding businessmen in the Northeastern United States.
Joe Kirk - 20 Year Operator, 20 Year Financing Consultant
Mr. Kirk joined London Manhattan in 1992. For the preceding fifteen years, he served on the Board of Directors of ICF International, Inc. and was Group President directing all consulting and information technology activities. He was also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of three of ICF's subsidiaries. Having joined ICF in 1977, when it had only 26 employees, he was one of the principals who oversaw and managed its growth to nearly 5,000 employees in 1992.
Since 1985, Mr. Kirk has played a major role in the acquisition, restructuring, turnaround or sale of more than thirty-five companies in the manufacturing, information technology, energy, defense, management consulting and computer software businesses.
Prior to ICF, Mr. Kirk worked in the U.S. government, holding, among others, positions as the Director of Policy for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Chief Management Analyst for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Kirk graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Politics and Engineering. He received his Master of Science degree in Operations Research from The George Washington University.
Marc A. Giguere - 5 Year Operator, 15 Year Financing Consultant
Mr. Giguere began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of John A. Tyler & Associates, P.C. in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Exercising experience gained in auditing, corporate and personal tax return research and preparation, as well as installation of computerized accounting systems, in 1989 he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of SSI Computer Systems, Inc., an international computer distribution company.
As a Managing Director of London Manhattan, Mr. Giguere utilizes his accounting and analytical skills in all aspects of client engagements. He has been directly involved in the due diligence process, determination of capital requirements, preparation of information memoranda and locating and securing appropriate financing.
Mr. Giguere received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island, graduating with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
Michael P. Chemodurow - 5 Year Operator, 15 Year Financing Consultant
Mr. Chemodurow began his career in San Francisco as a real estate executive for a restaurant company owned by The Quaker Oats Company in 1976. In that capacity, he negotiated regional shopping center leases and property acquisitions and dispositions, coordinated construction projects, and oversaw permitting activities. In 1979, Mr. Chemodurow joined a San Francisco firm specializing in real estate leasing, sales, development, management and finance for retail, office and industrial property portfolios.
In 1981, Mr. Chemodurow joined the land development subsidiary of Mobil Corporation. He was responsible for finance, zoning and development work relating to Mobil's large-scale real estate projects, which included premier golf course communities, as well as commercial properties with office, industrial and hotel components. In 1985, he became President of Mobil's real estate development subsidiaries in Colorado and thereafter in Phoenix.
In 1989, Mr. Chemodurow left Mobil to focus exclusively upon complex commercial finance activities.
Richard E. Lucy - 5 Year Operator, 15 Year Financing Consultant
Mr. Lucy brings to London Manhattan a professional background in the commercial real estate industry, with broad experience in development, asset management, lease renegotiation/restructuring, financial workouts, and investment acquisition/disposition.
Mr. Lucy is a Managing Director of London Manhattan, as well as president of Crosswind Capital, Inc., a boutique mezzanine level commercial real estate lender. Mr. Lucy assists our clients with disposition/consolidation alternatives, lease and sale negotiation, and transaction structure and implementation. He is also a principal with Black Equities Group, Ltd., of Beverly Hills, CA, a private capital commercial real estate investment and management firm with properties in 38 states.
He began his real estate career as an industrial and investment broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services in Los Angeles. Later positions included project manager/partner with a leading Newport Beach commercial development firm, and then a role as head of a leading commercial property management company. He also has served as a receiver for the Superior Court of the State of California in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Mr. Lucy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received in MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
Steve Henricks - 5 Year Operator, 15 Year Financing Consultant
Steve Henricks has spent the last 25 years in the investment banking industry. Mr. Henricks was with Hunter Wise Financial Group, LLC prior to joining London Manhattan.
He has been instrumental in the structure and funding of dozens of financing transactions for public and privately held companies, with an emphasis on directly placed private capital from institutional investors.
Previously, Mr. Henricks worked at notable investment banking firms on Wall Street, including Drexel Burnham Lambert and L.F. Rothschild Unterberg Towbin. He also founded and was President of Equity Funding Group, LLC, an investment banking consultancy that catered to small and medium sized companies.
Mr. Henricks holds an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York.
